Job summary

Hire Resolve in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, seeks a detailed Financial Manager to oversee internal accounting functions, including general ledger, payables, receivables, tax compliance, budgeting, and reporting.

This onsite role requires 3–5+ years' experience in internal accounting, fluency in Afrikaans and English, and strong Excel skills. Remuneration up to R420,000 CTC per annum, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent financial qualification.
• 3–5+ years of solid experience managing internal accounting, debtors, creditors, and monthly reporting operations.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English to liaise with internal teams and local stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in general ledger accounting systems, tax processing, and advanced MS Excel capabilities.
• High analytical acumen, precise attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day internal accounting, including general ledger processing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly management accounts compilation.
• Direct the full customer invoicing lifecycle, age analysis, debtor follow-ups, price adjustments, purchase order workflows, supplier reconciliations, and payment requisitions.
• Perform tax calculations, assist with statutory tax return submissions, and enforce internal controls in line with accounting standards.
• Prepare work allocation sheets, maintain service inventory listings, oversee financial data capturing, and assist leadership with ad-hoc reporting and operational task assignment.
• Assist in budget preparation, track monthly variances, and provide actionable financial trend insights to management.

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Financial Manager to manage the internal financial and operational accounting functions for a reputable corporate firm based in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. Focusing on the firm’s internal general ledger, this role oversees end-to-end accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax compliance, budget tracking, and operational administrative workflows.

Key Performance Areas:

• Core Internal Accounting: Manage day-to-day internal accounting, including general ledger processing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly management accounts compilation.
• Debtors & Creditors Management: Direct the full customer invoicing lifecycle, age analysis, debtor follow-ups, price adjustments, purchase order workflows, supplier reconciliations, and payment requisitions.
• Taxation & Compliance: Perform tax calculations, assist with statutory tax return submissions, and enforce internal controls in line with accounting standards.
• Operational & Administrative Support: Prepare work allocation sheets, maintain service inventory listings, oversee financial data capturing, and assist leadership with ad-hoc reporting and operational task assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

Position Details:
