Job description

A dynamic and fast-paced organisation is looking for a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead its financial operations. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting.
  • Review financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
  • Provide financial insights and business modelling to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
  • Monitor budget variances and suggest corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax regulations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • CA(SA) qualification with completed SAICA articles.
  • 5–7 years post-articles experience in a senior finance role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., AccPac).
  • Advantageous: Experience in a group reporting environment using tools like Power BI or Qlikview.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
