Mission
Manages accounting and financial reporting activities within the organization to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Oversees banking, financial reporting, tax payments, payment processes (debts and credits), and assists in preparing financial projections (Budget and Forecast).
Main Responsibilities
Accounting & Tax
- Manages accounting records on SAP.
- Ensures compliance with local accounting regulations and monitors the production of financial reports, ensuring they comply with IAS/IFRS standards.
- Prepares financial statements and consolidated reports in accordance with legislation and company policies.
- Provides advice on improving accounting systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepares monthly and annual reports to monitor the local balance sheet and financial health, proposing corrective actions if needed.
- Acts as an internal tax advisor, ensuring tax compliance and resolving tax issues.
- Identifies tax risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation measures.
Controlling
- Analyzes connections with Material Management, Production Planning, and Cost Center modules to provide product costing insights.
- Performs standard cost calculations and analyzes production and stock data concerning financial impacts.
- Monitors KPIs related to business performance and working capital management.
- Analyzes financial performance, including working capital, financial structure, and profitability, providing insights and corrective guidelines.
Finance & Treasury
- Monitors daily cash balances and determines cash requirements.
- Evaluates and authorizes payment instruments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Ensures accurate SAP accounting of bank transactions and maintains supplier banking information.
- Oversees currency transactions and shares market exchange insights with local Finance.
- Monitors expenditures and profits, recommending cost management strategies to maximize profits.
