Job description

Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Hammarsdale, KZN, and they are looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Manager to oversee all financial and strategic planning functions of the business.

This role requires a hands-on, commercially aware finance professional who can lead operational finance, ensure compliance, and contribute to key business decisions alongside the executive team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial forecasts
  • Drive annual budgeting processes and cost management initiatives
  • Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and the global finance team
  • Manage cash flow, credit controls, and statutory compliance
  • Oversee IT-related spend and infrastructure in collaboration with the group
  • Ensure legal compliance (SARS, CIPC, COID, UIF) and corporate governance
  • Support procurement, stock, and inventory cost integration
  • Oversee payroll in collaboration with HR

Profile we’re looking for:

  • CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
  • 2–3 years post-articles experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ERP and systems proficiency
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills
  • Strong leadership and team development experience
