Job Description:
Works closely with the finance executive to provide financial decision support. Provides insights and analysis through commentary on financial performance and assists in taking corrective actions to achieve financial results. Facilitates and prepares operational budgets and reports on business performance.

Minimum Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven track record in managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in a finance managerial role.
Education:
- Bachelor of Commerce with specialization in Accounting.
- Professional certification is advantageous.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely financial information, reports, and analysis, including formats, processes, and systems.
- Collaborate with Group Finance to ensure financial information meets business needs and maintains high quality and integrity.
- Perform periodic and year-end closing in coordination with relevant departments, including IFRS financial statements for reporting.
- Manage the production of monthly management accounts and ad hoc reports.
- Prepare financial information for Group finance, Board of Directors, and audit committee.
- Contribute to data model design to enable cost allocation across dimensions.
- Validate, check, and reconcile planning, budgeting, and forecasting data.
- Highlight trends and flag potential issues.
- Review budget submissions, financial data, and variance analysis.
- Work with auditors to resolve findings.
- Implement policies and standards for costing and cost allocation.
- Manage day-to-day finance operations.
- Develop cost reports through data mapping and design.
- Prepare budgets according to group frameworks.
- Oversee analysis at segment level, including trend and risk analysis.
- Manage talent for direct reports, including recruitment, retention, and development.
- Ensure adherence to performance management requirements and motivate staff.
- Ensure policy and procedural compliance within the segment.
- Collaborate with Group Tax and Business Services to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
- Work with other finance teams and portfolio executives to meet business requirements.
