Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Financial Manager to lead and oversee the finance function, ensuring sound financial governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, cost management, and business strategy execution.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement financial policies and internal control systems to ensure sound governance.
  2. Review cost structures and management practices to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  3. Oversee the development and management of operational and capital expenditure budgets.
  4. Monitor and manage actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Manage the costing process from raw materials to finished products.
  6. Ensure pricing remains competitive and aligned with the organization's pricing strategy.
  7. Verify customer rebate claims in accordance with agreed terms.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including management reports.
  9. Oversee key financial functions, including accounting, debtors, creditors, and cash flow management.
  10. Train and manage finance staff to develop skills and ensure performance objectives are met.
  11. Ensure successful completion of the annual external audit.
  12. Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT, tax, and company registrations.
