Skills and Experience Required:
- B. Com Accounting (post grad) / CIMA or relevant financial qualification.
- At least 5-8 years relevant experience (post articles 3 years).
- Computer literate with excellent Excel and report writing skills.
- Internal Audit experience.
- Strong communication skills and a servant leadership style.
- Strong people skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- ERP and business intelligence knowledge and experience.
- Well versed in HR practice relevant to managing the finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Cash flow management: Maintaining the cash flow of the KZN region.
- Accounting and Finance Reporting.
- Accounts payable management.
- Accounts receivable management.
- Contract management.
- Branches / Operations: Monitoring and managing finance-related functions at the branches.
- Fixed Assets Management.
- Risk and Governance: Ensuring implementation of risk assessment and governance principles.
- BI & Systems: Ensuring accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all systems, BI, and analytics.
- People Management: Managing the Finance department and assisting with credit control management.
