Finance Manager

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager with a solid background in the retail or hardware industry, who is not only technically proficient but also aligns with our values-driven culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full financial function of the business, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and integrity in all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations
2. Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and financial forecasts
3. Manage cash flow, banking, and reconciliation activities
4. Ensure compliance with SARS regulations and relevant financial legislation
5. Monitor stock levels, costing, and profitability analysis
6. Implement and improve internal financial controls and procedures
7. Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
8. Contribute to strategic business decisions and planning
9. Lead and motivate the finance team

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a similar role within retail or hardware industry or any fast-paced environment
2. Relevant Degree in Accounting, Finance, completed SAICA articles will be a bonus
3. Proficient in financial software (e.g. Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar)
4. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
5. Understanding and respect for Islamic values and practices is essential
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a culturally aware and respectful environment

What they Offer:

Salary: R30 000 - R40 000 per month
13th Cheque
Working Hours: Monday - Saturday
