Our client, who is involved with retail and distribution of textile, fabric, and related products is seeking a Finance Manager responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance to support business performance and strategic decision-making both in South Africa as well as their international branches. To lead financial operations, manages cash flow, and provides insights to drive profitability and growth.

About the Role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance to support business performance and strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable, accurate and timely financial and management information to their international business units highlighting areas requiring corrections and improvements.
• Ensure excellent administrative, shipping, logistics and financial support to the Director and Merchandising team in South Africa.
• Ensure support and service to Merchandisers at their international branches including adequate shipping process and follow up to maximize timeous deliveries.
• Ensure that Accounts and Shipping services are properly structured with adequate staff and IT resources to support trading and ensure proper and timely reporting.
• Ensure all deliveries to customers are accurately invoiced and paid within due dates.
• Ensure you minimize office costs and maximize revenue and funds transfer to the international branches.
