Finance Manager Opportunity Group Finance

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a dynamic Group Finance department within a leading listed organization. This role is based in Cape Town and reports to the Financial Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Purpose :

The Finance Manager will support the Group Financial Reporting team by delivering accurate timely and relevant financial information to drive decisionmaking analytics risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with monthly interim and yearend reporting.
• Support adhoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations as part of internal financial controls.
• Drive efficiencies by developing SAC reports data analytics and performance monitoring.
• Oversee the financial control environment ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports and optimizing the group reporting process.
• Support the preparation of statutory annual financial statements for all subsidiaries including planning drafting and managing the compilation process.

Requirements :

Education :

• Registered CA (SA)

Experience : Essential :

• Minimum of two years relevant finance and reporting experience ideally within the retail sector in a JSElisted company.
• Experience in financial reporting 1 years).

• Proficiency in SAP SAP EPM and Caseware.

Technical Knowledge & Skills :

• Strong understanding of financial reporting and statutory requirements.
