Job summary

EnableSA currently seeks a Junior Finance Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team. The role focuses on producing financial statements, budgets and cash flow projections, and providing variance analyses to support cost controls and profitability.

You will help manage a small team, work with ERP systems, and contribute to month-end and year-end processes, audits, and continuous improvement of financial controls.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a finance environment.
• Experience in preparing financial statements, management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Experience in variance analysis, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Previous experience supervising a small team of 2–3 junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in preparing management accounts.
• Support variance analysis and provide insights into cost control and profitability.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Monitor project budgets against actual spend and highlight variances.
• Support cash flow management and prepare projections.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist with the implementation of financial systems and controls.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions.
