Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support day-to-day finance and accounting tasks in a South African context. You will capture transactions, process payments, manage invoicing, and assist with month-end activities.

Ideal candidates hold a BCom in Accounting/Finance, demonstrate strong Excel skills and numerical ability, and can work independently or in a team. YES Programme eligibility and SA citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop.
• Must qualify for the YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme. Unemployed and SA citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting administration.
• Capture and process financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with reconciliations and checking financial information.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation.
• Assist with invoicing and processing payments.
• Support the finance team with month-end administration.
• Assist with data capturing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
• Perform other finance-related duties as required.
