Job summary

MiWay is seeking a dedicated finance professional to support processing management expenses payments, reconciling supplier accounts, administering company credit cards, and updating the fixed asset register. The role involves working on financial projects, fleet card administration, and monthly reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have a Finance qualification (BCom or equivalent), basic Excel skills, knowledge of IFRS and VAT, and experience with JD Edwards General Ledger.

Qualifications

• Finance qualification (BCom degree or equivalent).
• Basic Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and VAT acts.
• Experience with JD Edwards General Ledger.

Responsibilities

• Process management expenses payments in the JDE system.
• Investigate accounts payable issues as needed.
• Update the fixed asset register and process depreciation journals.
• Reconcile fixed assets.
• Administer company credit cards.
• Reconcile Visa Spend System to JDE system (GL) monthly.
• Administer fleet cards, including applications, cancellations, and amendments.
• Prepare monthly accrual schedules.
• Manage quarterly submissions to the Reserve Bank and SASRIA.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
