Position : Finance & Insurance Manager

Location :

The Finance & Insurance Manager will be based in our East London office, conveniently located in the heart of the city.

This vibrant coastal city offers a great work-life balance with its beautiful beaches, rich cultural heritage, and thriving business community.

Contract Details :

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will be employed on a permanent basis and will be expected to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional overtime and weekend work as required.

Job Overview :

As the Finance & Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and insurance activities within the company.

You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to provide financial advice, develop insurance strategies, and manage all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
  2. Manage the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  3. Provide financial advice and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers to negotiate favorable terms and coverage for the company.
  5. Oversee the processing of insurance claims and ensure timely and accurate payments.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management.
  7. Train and mentor junior finance and insurance staff members.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential opportunities for the company.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance or insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and insurance regulations and laws.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management software.
