Responsibilities Define, develop, and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and frameworks to manage practice effectively and provide thought leadership.
Implement internal and external financial reporting processes and documentation according to professional standards for entities and groups.
Analyze, plan, and manage costs, including product pricing and supply chain analysis, to support business strategies.
Translate business strategy into financial targets and tactical plans; support execution with benchmarking, trends, and forecasting methods; improve planning processes.
Establish and ensure effective modelling, planning, and forecasting processes across business units, and identify best practices.
Benchmark business performance internally and externally; provide management information to support decision-making.
Design and implement a control framework to ensure operational and financial integrity and manage risks.
Manage end-to-end finance projects from strategy to system implementation.
Monitor and manage risks, ensuring compliance with audit and governance guidelines, and address audit findings.
Oversee tax return preparation, provide advice on complex tax issues, and interpret tax legislation.
Advise on business performance reports and analyze variances.
Stay updated on legislative changes and industry best practices; provide proactive advice.
Foster a service-oriented culture, build relationships, and promote innovation.
Continuously assess and improve personal and team performance, skills, and culture.
Coach team members and develop technical relationships across the organization.
