Job description

To support the Finance Team in delivering accurate reporting, effective controls and day-to-day transactional operations.

  • Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and supporting schedules
  • Prepare intercompany invoices and reconcile intercompany accounts
  • Assist with monthly reporting submissions
  • Update cost statements for distribution to cost centre owners
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Raise purchase requisitions for finance related orders
  • Assist with daily cash requests
  • Assist with receipting of non-stock orders
  • Assist in the preparation of budget files including the update thereof with cost centre owners
  • Update fixed asset registers and assist in periodic asset counts
  • Update development spend register
  • Support VAT and tax return preparation through data collation
  • Contribute to audit preparation, including collating schedules and supporting documentation
  • Other adhoc tasks as required by management
