Job description

• Lead and oversee financial operations, reporting, and audits across the group.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of group AFS, monthly reports, and committee reporting.
• Manage tax compliance, SARS submissions, and audit coordination.
• Provide oversight on key IFRS areas including IFRS 2, 3, 9, 15, and 16.
• Manage treasury functions, including daily cashflow monitoring and RCF facility administration.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting across rental units and capex planning.
• Lead a high-performing team including finance interns, portfolio finance managers, and the HO accountant.
• Drive statutory compliance, including XBRL reporting and annual returns.
• Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and internal controls.

Minimum Requirements :

• CA(SA) qualification with a BCom Honours degree.
• Minimum 35 years experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Proven background in the property sector, ideally with REITs or commercial real estate exposure.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, JSE listing requirements, and financial regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of MDA or other property management systems.
