Candidates need a CA (SA) and strong experience in financial management and reporting.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 2 - 3 years at senior management level.
• Experience in an operational environment will be an advantage.

Job Function

To support the Financial Director as well as the Business Unit Operations Director in the formation and execution of strategy as well as to take accountability for the Business Unit’s financial health by planning, analysing, advising and reporting on financial strengths and weaknesses to improve financial performance, and alignment to financial governance of the Business Unit.

Key Performance Areas:

• Management of the finance team
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly reporting to Imperial is submitted accurately and on time
• Working Capital Management
• Ensure adherence to Legal and Statutory requirements, including tax compliance
• Ensure compliance with the Group’s financial processes, policies and disciplines
• Continuous improvement of internal financial and operational processes within Business Unit
• Maintain sound corporate governance within the organization
• Assist the Operations Director with managing the Business Unit’s specific business risks.
• Provide Strategic direction to the Business Unit
• Key team members in the implementation and monitoring of Business unit’s strategic plans.
• Manage and enhance all relevant result indicators with a specific focus on: Return on Invested Capital, Working Capital, Net Debt
• Operating Margin and other relevant measurements and indicators
• Enhance Management Reporting within the Business Unit
• Ensuring good results to internal and external audits
• Monitor internal controls: Financial and Operational
• Play a key role in strategy, analysis and forecasting
• Assist in preparation of tender costings
• Prepare annual budgets and strategic plans for the Business Unit
