Duties & Responsibilities

As Finance Director, you'll utilize your expertise to navigate the financial landscape of one of the world's most dynamic and forward-thinking companies. Your responsibilities include:

• Driving strategic financial planning and optimizing operational performance.
• Managing and controlling day-to-day transactional accounting systems, processes, and procedures in compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and statutory regulations, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, processing, and reconciliation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Revolutionizing industries, pioneering sustainability, and making a lasting impact on the world.

Additional Duties

• Develop, implement, and oversee financial management and accounting policies aligning with strategic objectives and compliance standards.
• Supervise asset management, including current, fixed, and intangible assets.

• Prepare financial and tax reports, conduct internal audits, and ensure compliance with IAS, IFRS, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee IT requirements, security activities, and team management.

Job Experience & Skills Required

Qualifications: Matric, BCom Accounting, CTA, CIMA qualification, completed SAICA articles, 8-10 years experience, including 3 years as a financial manager in an engineering environment, experience with Navision.

Skills & Competencies: Analytical, detail-oriented, critical thinking, numerical proficiency, organized, and precise.
