Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Finance Data Analyst in South Africa to transform complex financial data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions. You will bridge Finance and technical teams, build scalable reports, automate analyses, and strengthen data governance across ERP, CRM, HR, and payroll systems.

The role offers full-time work with cross-functional collaboration and exposure to SaaS finance metrics, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, FP&A analytics, or related role.
• Strong SQL skills and practical experience with at least one BI tool.
• Ability to translate business questions into clear data requirements, metrics, and analyses.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, forecasting, closing, variance analysis, revenue, cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Map and document data sources, ownership, definitions, and data flows for transparency.
• Identify data gaps and inconsistencies across systems (accounting, billing, CRM, HR, payroll).
• Define data requirements for monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Transform and model data to create reliable, reusable datasets with clear lineage.
• Produce recurring analyses, dashboards, and reports to support leadership decisions.
