Job summary

Eskom Generation is seeking an Assistant Officer Financial Accounting and Control for Medupi Power Station, Lephalale. The role provides accounting support to ensure IFRS compliance and sound financial control, with duties spanning month-end processing and statutory reporting.

Location is Medupi Power Station, Limpopo. Contract is permanent, and remuneration is market related. Requires 2 years in financial accounting and a National Diploma in Accounting (NQF 6).

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Accounting with 240 credits (NQF 6)
• Minimum 2 years experience in financial accounting
• IFRS knowledge and ability to support compliance

Responsibilities

• Compile financial accounting reporting packs and schedules
• Prepare tax, related party and intercompany schedules
• Maintain tax compliance
• Execute month-end processing
• Maintain effective controls and reporting
• Validate SAP access, workflow and DoA
