Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking an Officer Financial Accounting & Control at Grootvlei Power Station in Mpumalanga. The role provides professional reporting and accounting support to ensure IFRS compliance, Eskom policies, and sound financial control.

The position requires a National Diploma in Accounting/Finance and 3 years’ relevant experience in financial accounting. The incumbent will supervise staff and coordinate foreign exchange activities within a team-driven finance department.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Accounting/Finance at NQF 6 with 240 Credits.
• 3 years’ experience in the Financial Accounting enviroment.
• Experience with IFRS/External Reporting and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Compile statutory reporting packs and schedules.
• Manage general ledger, tax compliance, sundry debtors and retention.
• Provide foreign exchange coordination and hedge accounting.
• Maintain stakeholder management and facilitate controls.
• Supervise employees in the functional area.
