Our client, the South African arm of a leading global pharmaceutical company with a strong focus in Oncology and Neurology, is looking for a dynamic Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager to join their powerhouse team.

As the Finance Business Partner, you’ll be the financial right hand to the business — steering strategy, managing performance, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence. You'll collaborate across functions and borders, reporting to both local leadership and the parent company in Japan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

• Own day-to-day accounting and monthly reporting in line with IFRS & local GAAP
• Present meaningful insights by comparing actuals vs. budgets and forecasts
• Lead financial consolidation and statement preparation
• Drive compliance in taxation, statutory reporting, and audit readiness
• Partner with stakeholders to define pricing strategy, support cross-border transactions, and ensure transfer pricing compliance
• Champion the SAP environment with at least 3 years of hands-on experience
• Elevate payroll processing accuracy, streamline SOPs, and lead finance audits

QUALIFICATIONS :

• BCom Accounting (or equivalent) — CA(SA) preferred
• MBA in Finance? That’s a plus!
• 5+ years in the pharmaceutical or similar industry
• Proven success in managing cross-border transactions and compliance
• Track record of delivering results, driving innovation, and owning outcomes
