Job Summary

The role involves preparing financial information for all stakeholders to support informed decision-making and business support. A Finance Commercial Business Partner provides financial insights, analysis, and strategic support to drive business performance. The primary responsibility is to serve as a strategic advisor to operational and commercial teams, ensuring alignment of financial goals with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include:

Job Description
1. Strategic Business Partnering
  • Collaborate with senior management and department heads to develop financial strategies and support decision-making.
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to optimize revenue, control costs, and enhance profitability.
  • Act as a bridge between finance and operational teams, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business objectives.
2. Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with commentary on variances and performance metrics.
  • Analyze MI and customer insights monthly to inform business decisions.
  • Assess key KVDs and provide insights to improve business performance.
  • Prepare monthly commercial packs, analyze variances, and offer insights.
3. Decision Support
  • Evaluate business cases, capital investment projects, and pricing strategies.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend actions to improve financial performance and cost efficiencies.
  • Provide scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses for key decisions.
  • Review commercial impairments, understand key drivers, and analyze movements monthly.
  • Review RWA movements and large client movements, providing insights.
4. Commercial Strategy
  • Support development and execution of commercial strategies, including product launches, market expansion, and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with MI teams to build customer profitability insights for pricing decisions.
5. Risk Management and Compliance
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, controls, and policies.
6. Stakeholder Communication
  • Present financial insights to regional and executive teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and stakeholder influence across organizational levels.

Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Financial Sciences are required.
