Key Tasks & Accountabilities

1. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
2. Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
3. Provide strategic financial advice to business unit leaders to support business planning and decision-making processes.
4. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
5. Monitor and analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
6. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
7. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance against budget and forecasts.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and across business units.
9. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
10. Participate in or lead cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise and strategic insights.
11. Support business units in evaluating new initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
12. Leading ad hoc projects.

Qualification & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 2 years in a business partnering capacity.
3. Experience in short-term insurance accounting and experience in working with coaching and developing team members.
