ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to manage and ensure the accurate and timely processing of all marketing financial transactions, supporting the proper recording of goods and services within the Marketing department.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and process Purchase Orders accurately and in line with internal procedures
  • Track and ensure proper authorisation of invoices from Key Account Managers
  • Perform detailed reconciliations of marketing accounts against vendor statements
  • Verify that all marketing expenses are approved by the relevant Marketing Head before processing
  • Compile and submit accurate supporting documentation for A&P Debtor Recovery accounts on a monthly basis
  • Support the Marketing team with ad hoc requests from Principals as required
  • Ensure timely submission of A&P Debtor Accounts for all Principals

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric certificate (a relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting will be advantageous)
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a finance-related role
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience with SAP and/or Pastel accounting systems
  • Solid commercial acumen and business awareness
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong planning and accuracy
  • Creative thinker with an innovative approach to tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
