Job Title: Finance and Insurance Manager

Specific Role Responsibilities

Generic Job Outputs

1. Deliver on performance targets according to budget and sales goals in a high-volume dealership.
2. Maximize second gross profit.
3. Ensure compliance with governance and legislative requirements.
4. Record and report transactional activities for decision-making.
5. Conduct financial needs analyses and promote value-added finance and insurance products.
6. Manage and maintain the finance and insurance debtor’s book and related administrative processes.
7. Provide need analysis, financial, and insurance advice to clients.
8. Support finance and insurance activities to enhance dealership growth and profitability.
9. Educate customers on products to retain existing clients and increase sales revenue and customer base.
10. Continuously develop personal industry knowledge and skills.
11. Ensure excellent customer service and sales management.
12. Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations such as NCA, CRA, FAIS, and FICA.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience

• At least 3 years in a similar role with a customer service focus within the Automotive Retail or Banking industries.

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric with a relevant diploma. Additional qualifications such as a Credit Management Diploma, Regulatory Exam, NC Accreditation, or Retail/Short-Term Insurance Qualification (minimum 120 credits) are advantageous.
• Experience in Accounting or Financial Services roles.
