Job description

Financial Administrator Pinelands / Rondebosch Area Cape Town

Our law firm client is looking for a Financial Administrator / Bookkeeper with up to 3 years of finance bookkeeping experience. YOU MUST HAVE A CAR as you will be working from two different branches (Cape Town CBD and Bellville/Durbanville).

Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 (Depends on experience). Travel between two branches when needed (not on the same day). CAR ESSENTIAL.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 with applicable qualifications like bookkeeping (advantageous).
  • Preferably experience on Lexpro (training will be provided).
  • Law firm experience is a bonus but not essential (can be trained).
  • 3+ years bookkeeping experience.
  • Excel experience is essential.
  • 3+ years bank reconciliations experience.
  • Assist with audits when needed.
  • Experience with Debtors and Creditors.
  • Car and Driver’s License are ESSENTIAL.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in getting the books to trial balance.
  • Bookkeeping, reconciliations, and payment allocations.
  • Processing of financial data.
  • Assist with invoicing and quotes.
  • Assist with Debtors and Creditors management.
  • Capturing and processing payments.
  • Assist with SARS submissions like VAT, PAYE, EMP’s, and others.
  • Assist with monthly processing of payslips and salary payments.
  • Assist with payroll processing and general HR administration.
  • Daily printing of business bank statements.
  • Assist with account reconciliations.
  • Daily checking of deposits on business trust bank statements.
