Job Purpose:
Maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing administrative support to Lucy Electric South Africa's finance department.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Financial Recording:
  • Processing purchase requisitions
  • Generating invoices and credit notes
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Preparing monthly Purchase Requisition report
    • Preparing monthly Request-To-Order report
    • Preparing monthly Travelling report
    • Preparing monthly Fleet report
    • Preparing monthly credit card report
    • Preparing monthly employee expense claim report
    • Preparing ad hoc reports
    • Preparing the aged analysis report
    • Preparing monthly trade receivable and trade payable report
    • Sending invoices with statements
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assisting Finance team with documents required for Finance, BBBEE, Quality, and SARS audit
    • Adding new customers and suppliers on the system
    • Filing of all finance documents
    • Taking clear messages and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders
    • Customer reference checks
    • Customer payments follow-ups
  • Treasury:
    • Preparing the BOP forms
    • Preparing exchange control applications
    • Preparing monthly journals: Vodacom & Fleet

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

    • National Diploma in Accounting
    • Computer literacy in MS Office, Excel Spreadsheet
