Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Administrator role. Our client is a leader in South Africa’s wedding entertainment scene, creating unforgettable wedding experiences. We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to help manage key financial systems, assist with day-to-day operations, and support the team in achieving seamless business functions. Responsibilities include managing supplier invoices, overseeing budgeting, and financial reconciliation to maintain accuracy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Invoice and Receipt Management: Load, check, and process all supplier invoices and receipts (weekly/monthly).
  2. Client and Supplier Reconciliation: Reconcile receipts twice a week and perform monthly reconciliations, including spreadsheets for sales and deposits.
  3. Financial Data Updates: Update product descriptions, costs, and sales prices weekly; maintain supplier spreadsheets for payments weekly.
  4. Payment Processing: Load supplier payments via FNB Enterprise Banking weekly.
  5. Budget Tracking and Reporting: Track and report on budgets against actual invoices weekly.
  6. Administrative Data Management: Update event coordinator spreadsheets monthly, track timesheets weekly, and verify/report on stock counts weekly/monthly.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years in financial administration, bookkeeping, or related support roles.
  • Proven experience with Xero, Dext, and FNB Enterprise Banking (or similar).
  • Experience managing supplier payments, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and work within structured systems.

  • Qualification: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred but not essential with relevant experience.
  • Must have own laptop.
  • Start Date: ASAP
