A leader in the wedding entertainment industry in South Africa seeks a detail-oriented Finance Administrator based in Cape Town. This role involves managing supplier invoices, assisting in financial reconciliation, and supporting the team with operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Finance Administrator role. Our client is a leader in South Africa s wedding entertainment scene creating unforgettable wedding experiences. We are looking for a detailoriented Finance Administrator to help manage key financial systems assist with daytoday operations and support the team in achieving seamless business functions. From managing supplier invoices to overseeing budgeting and financial reconciliation you will help maintain accuracy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Supplier Invoice and Receipt Management : Load check and process all supplier invoices and receipts (weekly / monthly).
Client and Supplier Reconciliation : Reconcile client and supplier receipts (twice a week) and perform monthly reconciliations including spreadsheets for sales and deposits.
Financial Data Updates : Update product descriptions costs and sales prices (weekly) and maintain supplier spreadsheets for payments (weekly).
Payment Processing : Load supplier payments via FNB Enterprise Banking (weekly).
Budget Tracking and Reporting : Track and report on budgets against actual invoices (weekly).
Administrative Data Management : Update event coordinator spreadsheets (monthly) track timesheets against operational budgets (weekly) and verify / report on stock counts (weekly / monthly).
Experience :
2 4 years of experience in a similar role involving financial administration bookkeeping or administration support.
Proven experience using Xero Dext and FNB Enterprise Banking (or similar platforms).
Experience in managing supplier payments reconciliations and maintaining financial records accurately.
Experience working in an environment where multitasking attention to detail and structured systems are essential.
