Job summary

ESG Recruitment Limited is seeking a seasoned Final Assembly supervisor to lead a production team, manage workload and ensure timely delivery of assemblies. You will read drawings, apply ISO tolerances, maintain quality, and coordinate stores, logistics and repairs to support efficient operations.

The role requires experience in manufacturing supervision, OHSA knowledge, strong Excel skills, and readiness for shift work. Based in Johannesburg, it offers fulltime employment onsite.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Final Assembly supervisory/foreman roles.
• Familiarity with drawing interpretation and ISO tolerances.
• OHSA and Labour relations knowledge.
• Strong computer and Excel skills.
• Ability to manage stock and stores requisitions.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel within the Final Assembly area and allocate workload.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
• Inspect assemblies for compliance with drawings and quality standards.
• Order bearings and components from Stores and manage stock levels.
• Coordinate loading/offloading of trucks and movement of pulleys with production and logistics.
• Coordinate repair pulley processes and prepare assemblies for delivery.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the Final Assembly area.
