Job description

An industry-leading client of ours is currently looking for an experienced Filler Technician to join their team of professionals.

Qualifications
  • Qualified Mechanical Fitter
  • Mechanical Fitter and Turner
  • or Millwright
Experience

Exposure / Knowledge of various filling machines and associated equipment:

  • Carbonated Soft Drinks
  • Oil Filling Machines
  • Hot Liquid Filling Machines
  • Blending / Mixing Machines
  • CIP Systems
Key Attributes
  • Understanding the importance of safety in the workplace
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally for up to three months
  • Knowledge of filling systems and packaging lines
  • Knowledge of liquid handling
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
  • Fault finding using various techniques to resolve problems systematically
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication at all levels of the business
  • Teamwork, willingness to learn and share knowledge
  • Self-management and team management during planned work
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems
  • Ability to write technical reports and compile detailed audits
  • Professional representation of the company and promotion of products
  • Conflict resolution skills
