Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Facilitation of Training Sessions
- Deliver practical modular training on current handsets and handsets with low sales rates.
- Write and mark tests.
- Plan open sessions at regional Service Provider premises.
- Consolidate and record all events on the office events calendar.
- Manage training diaries according to the regional Training Specialist.
- Attend Network data training to gain knowledge on customer data.
- Participate in weekly Samsung Product Consultant meetings to stay informed about field activities.
- Attend meetings with Samsung trainers as necessary.
- Participate in conference calls to gain national insights on responsibilities.
Training Implementation
- Assess client requirements and user levels.
- Develop a training plan to address skills gaps, considering geographical areas and resources.
- Deliver solutions/products training on schedule.
- Conduct FSP training at relevant hubs.
- Arrange logistics for training sessions, including equipment and venues.
- Ensure training sessions are scheduled at least 30 days in advance and communicated to relevant supervisors and managers.
Training Delivery
- Identify geographical areas with training needs.
- Conduct train-the-trainer workshops with field managers.
- Train end users, focusing on refresher training or new programs.
- Oversee and monitor the overall training process.
Training Evaluation and Effectiveness
- Assess users in the field and conduct written tests.
- Evaluate improvements in data quality and project completion timeliness.
- Analyze training results to determine effectiveness.
- Review training attendance against sales performance across channels.
- Maintain records of promotional approvals and expenditure reports.
- Consolidate weekly training data and report on delivery metrics.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2-3 years of field marketing experience in Consumer Electronics or Telecommunications.
- Diploma/NQF Level 5 qualification.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Effective time management and planning skills.
- Customer service and client relationship skills.
- Interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
