Job description

The purpose of the FSE is to provide efficient technical support to end-users and ensure the end-user functions without any IT related issues. The FSE also provides technical guidance to the end-user to ensure the various departments make the best decisions to meet their IT needs. The FSE assists the user to ensure the correct IT HW is procured and assists with the managing of other business units as well as 3rd party vendors. The FSE also assists with coordinating the delivery, reception, maintenance, repair, or replacement of IT equipment, as well as executing admin-related query support for any IT issues. This role applies extensive IT knowledge in IT hardware repair, replacement, and the billing thereof to enable efficient IT services to the end-users, stores and DCs (Distribution Centre). The role helps to manage the flow of IT equipment and stock, ensuring efficient and accurate processing, organizing, and safe storing of inventory, including the physical handling of IT equipment from receiving through to storing and dispatch. The role requires quarterly stock takes to be conducted and stock to be physically counted. This role interacts with several internal and external parties and the FSE needs to display great collaboration, time management, technical and admin skills to ensure the target and deadline is met. Depending on work demands, the FSE will be required to travel to other countries, be available at all hours and spend extended times away from their family.
