Job description

Role Overview: We are seeking a Field Services Manager to supervise and manage our Field Service Department personnel, oversee workload and resource planning, and ensure the ongoing maintenance and preventative maintenance of our portfolio.

This role involves both field-based and office-based work, requiring travel between branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design strategies to control day-to-day services and address customer needs.
  2. Recommend and design policies to reduce costs and improve service efficiency.
  3. Supervise and manage maintenance and associated functions.
  4. Plan and manage workload, overtime, and labor resources.
  5. Ensure Field Representatives adhere to rules and responsibilities and complete and submit service activity reports timely.
  6. Review projects and define equipment and service scope.
  7. Monitor costs and profitability of projects.
  8. Prepare equipment POs, installation and parts lists, and coordinate shipments.
  9. Supervise mechanical and electrical installations.
  10. Obtain inspection and customer signoffs and monitor final invoicing.
  11. Ensure technicians have necessary training and tools.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
  13. Prepare monthly cost reports and manage budgeting and cash flow.
  14. Maintain service records and building compliance documentation.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of field service management or project management experience.
  2. Strong technical ability and knowledge.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in MS-Office products, especially Word and Excel.
  5. Previous health and safety and/or hazmat training is a plus.
  6. Valid driver's license.
  7. Ability to work on a flexible schedule.
  8. Dynamic and passionate with a strong teamwork mentality.
  9. Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
