Field Service Technician Power Electronics South Africa mfd

We are seeking a Field Technician to support our residential battery storage systems in South Africa.

As a Field Technician, your main task will be to support our customers with the installation of Canadian Solar's power electronic products.

You will be part of a talented team consisting of technicians and engineers who offer in-house advice and support to colleagues, as well as providing premium service to our customers.

Main Tasks

• Provide installation support and training (remotely & onsite).
• Ensure Canadian Solar's newly released residential energy storage systems function correctly with various microinverters, DC PV, AC-coupled PV inverters, generators, and EV car chargers, by providing technical expertise and support.
• Offer remote (online & phone) support to installers by presenting visual training aids, manuals, and other documents.
• Travel to residential customer project sites throughout South Africa to support Canadian Solar's power electronics products.
• Respond to calls from installers and end customers to answer questions.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team, Technical Support Engineers, and Customer Service Department.

Languages

• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus

Location

• Cape Town, hybrid working system
