Position title: Field Service Technician M / F

Contract: Full-time

Summary Statement :

The purpose of this position is to maintain, service, and repair material handling equipment, systems, and products on company premises in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet customer and company requirements, while maintaining vehicle records.

Key Performance Areas :

1. Servicing of material handling equipment and maintaining forklift serviceability according to specified standards and procedures by delivering quality service and maintenance.
2. Perform accurate diagnosis and troubleshooting in case of equipment breakdown; communicate repair needs to customers and/or supervisors.
3. Maintain vehicle maintenance and operational data by updating records and communicating information promptly.
4. Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner.
5. Facilitate proper communication between self, workshop staff (supervisor and controller), and customers.
6. Ensure compliance with OHSACT requirements on company and client premises; maintain a safe work environment by verifying vehicle safety device operations, following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
7. Update job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.
