Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking to employ a Field Service Technician based at their Johannesburg branch.

Requirements
  • Qualified Electrician or Technician with N3 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Control Systems
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in Control Systems Electronics and/or Pneumatics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel, including after-hours and cross-border support
Responsibilities
  • Report and document repairs and returns to clients
  • Handle warranty claims documentation and submissions
  • Provide telephonic and on-site support to customers
  • Support internal sales with technical expertise
  • Maintain ISO compliance
  • Commission equipment and evaluate operational issues
  • Respond to breakdowns promptly
  • Assist with spare parts inventory and warehousing
  • Prepare customer quotes as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
