Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician located in the Pretoria. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing healthcare equipment. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventative maintenance, training clients on equipment usage, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The technician will also be responsible for documenting service and installation activities, managing inventory of parts and equipment, and liaising with clients to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in AV equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues and performing preventative maintenance
• Ability to train clients on equipment usage and ensuring safety compliance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in documenting service and installation activities
• Ability to manage inventory of parts and equipment effectively
• Tertiary Qualification and vocational training in the AV and/or Clinical Tech field
• Computer Literate in Networking and Network Setup
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Neat methodical worker
• Good intra- and interpersonal communication skills
• Willing to work overtime and weekends
• Minimum 3 years experience in the field
