Job Title: Field Service Technician

• Perform machine repairs and services professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business through high work standards.

Main Responsibilities or Functions:

• Perform services and breakdown repairs on Epiroc equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct on-the-job training for customer artisans during machine servicing and repairs.
• Promote Epiroc's best practices for maintenance and service.
• Regularly audit customer machines.
• Check and recommend spare parts and appropriate stock levels.
• Communicate technical updates and bulletins to customers.
• Commission machines within the territory.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Experience in customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet set standards.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Technical knowledge of Epiroc’s products.
• Computer literacy.
• Good product knowledge, especially of Surface Drill Rigs (DM, DML, PV, etc.).

Educational Qualifications:

• Experience with TMM (Trackless Mine Machines).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong technical background.
• Good customer relations skills.
• Effective communication skills, including telephone manners.
• Ability to work independently and present oneself professionally.
