The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Services Manager to oversee the Field Service Department.

This role involves team leadership, project management, and resource planning to ensure smooth maintenance operations and installations across our national property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily field operations, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.
  2. Manage maintenance staff, schedules, and resource planning.
  3. Drive cost reduction and efficiency through process improvements and strategic planning.
  4. Manage project delivery: scope definition, resource planning, equipment ordering, and on-site supervision.
  5. Monitor project costs and profitability, ensuring timely invoicing and customer sign-off.
  6. Maintain service activity reports, project documentation, and compliance records.
  7. Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules and budgets.
  8. Support technician development through training, tools, and supervision.
  9. Collaborate across departments for smooth project execution.
  10. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in field service or project management.
  2. Strong technical expertise in mechanical/electrical systems.
  3. Proven leadership in managing complex service operations.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other business tools.
  6. Health & Safety / Hazmat training is advantageous.
  7. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
