Our client is looking to employ an experienced Field Service Engineer with experience in Nuclear Medicine equipment and CT Scanners.
Reporting
This position will report to the Technical Manager.
Areas of responsibility
- Installation of new equipment, as well as service and maintenance of existing equipment, in compliance with regulations and quality standards;
- Assess, troubleshoot and repair defective diagnostic equipment;
- Complete and keep detailed records of all work done and prepare weekly work reports;
- Complete all mandatory documentation as required for all installations;
- Delivery of equipment to customers;
- Ensure product quality by electrical testing methods and testing installed system capabilities;
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends;
- Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests;
- Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures;
- Update and maintain product database on an ongoing basis;
- Complete projects by training and guiding customers/users;
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma, N-Dip, or B-tech Degree in Clinical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering;
- Computer Skills (MS Office, especially Excel advanced, networking, etc.)
Experience required
- 3-5 years of technical experience in the Medical Industry;
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with CT Scanners;
- Experience with Nuclear Medicine Equipment is an advantage;
- Electrical, mechanical, and electronic field experience is an advantage.
