Requirements :
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification will be beneficial but not essential
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales / field merchandising in retail / beauty / health industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- Customer focused and able to prioritize long-term client relationships over short-term wins. Understands customer needs and provides solutions.
- Time management, organised, self-motivated, and a natural go-getter.
- Passion for sales and relationship building.
- Comfortable with cold calling and sourcing new clients.
- Results orientated and focused on achieving sales goals and understands how their work impacts the company's bottom line.
- Adaptable and flexible to different customers and markets.

- Must own a fuel-efficient personal vehicle.
- Must hold a valid drivers license.
- Willing and able to travel one full week per month (costs will be covered).

- Pretoria
- East rand
- Country trips to Limpopo
Responsibilities :
- Client Relationship Management :
Service and maintain a well-established existing customer base and build strong relationships with customers.
- Actively identify and acquire new business through proactive outreach and cold calling.
- In-Store Execution :
Clean, dust, and maintain display stands at customer sites.
- Set up and refresh in-store marketing materials and ensure products are in optimal display locations.
- Negotiate and secure in-store marketing and promotional opportunities.
- Sales & Order Generation :
Proactively drive product orders across the full range, not just reactive order taking.
- Assess stock levels and trends to offer smart replenishment suggestions and upselling.
- Staff Training & Service Delivery :
Train in-store staff on our products, including hygiene, technique, and customer interaction.
- Support the store team to ensure service consistency and professionalism.
- Chain Store Account Management :
Visit national retail head office customers and complete required activities during these visits to qualify for visit-based remuneration.
- Trade Shows & Special Events :
Attend and work at company trade shows or promotional events, including occasional weekends (with prior notice).
