Ingrain in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a facility operative to support daily production targets while maintaining product quality. You will monitor process parameters, conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot deviations and collect samples for analysis.

• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining product quality standards.
• Monitor and control process parameters including flow rates, pressures, vacuum levels, tank levels and product quality indicators.
• Conduct routine field inspections to ensure optimal plant performance.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting and proactively identify process deviations.
• Collect, analyse and record product and process samples.
• Monitor chemical levels and ensure correct usage of process chemicals.
• Ensure sterilisation and cleaning procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to.
• Replace dryer filters and carry out routine operational checks as required.
• Operate forklifts and/or bobcats where required and appropriately authorised.
• Issue work permits in line with plant procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Agri Products Operations

• Monitor and optimise dewatering, drying, storage and handling processes for Gluten 20, Gluten 60, Germ, CSL and Effluent.
• Conduct inspections and maintain process control across Agri Products operations.
• Monitor cooling tower temperatures and levels.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Adhere to all safety, health, environmental and food safety requirements.
• Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards using the "clean as you go" principle.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Support ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and FSSC requirements.
• Identify and report spillages, leaks and safety hazards promptly.

• Collaborate effectively with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Build positive working relationships across departments.
• Demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach by supporting internal and external customer requirements.
