Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Field Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at its petrochemical facilities in Vereeniging. You will oversee operators and technicians, drive safe, efficient production, and monitor plant performance.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in petrochemical operations, a relevant engineering degree, strong leadership, and expertise in process safety. You will manage shifts, implement best practices, and foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in operations within the petrochemical or chemical processing industry.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a plant operations environment.
• Strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles and hazardous material handling.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to a demanding operational schedule.
