Placements24 is seeking a Field Installation Specialist to install, configure and test security systems in the Soweto area. You will work on CCTV, access control and alarm panels at residential and commercial sites, ensuring reliability and safety while delivering clear handover to clients.

The role is field-based, customer-facing and requires strong technical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read system diagrams and install low-voltage wiring with precision.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Field Installation Specialist with a focus on security systems to join their team serving the Soweto area. This role involves the professional installation, configuration, and testing of various security technologies, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, at residential and commercial properties. You will be the primary point of contact for clients on-site, ensuring installations are completed to the highest standards and providing basic system familiarization. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in security system installation, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety and reliability within the Gauteng region. This is a customer-facing, field-based position.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure security systems such as CCTV cameras , access control readers, and alarm panels.
