Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician in Mahikeng to contribute to workplace safety and sanitation. The role involves site assessments, environmental monitoring, and implementing hygiene protocols on diverse sites.

You will train employees, document inspections, and work with management to uphold high safety standards. Some remote reporting or coordination may be required as part of a field-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience as Industrial Hygiene Technician or in a related safety and health role.
• Knowledge of environmental monitoring techniques and safety regulations.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of workplace conditions to identify hygiene and safety risks.
• Perform environmental monitoring for air quality, water safety, and other factors.
• Implement and enforce sanitation protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Develop and deliver training on hygiene practices and hazard awareness.
