The position will form part of a development team that develops customizations in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP systems that are used in the group of companies.
Responsibilities
Writing code, testing, designing, and documenting programs as specified by the direct manager
Adherence to the defined Software Development Lifecycle
Attending and accurately reporting on projects and tickets at weekly team meetings
Ensuring that the IT department remains the preferred IT service provider of the business
Continuous identification, reporting, and handling of risks in the IT department
Complying with all company policies as well as adhering to all IT principles
Delivering high-quality code (ticket comebacks)
Attending and participating in daily scrum meetings
Identifying problems and solving ad hoc program issues and inquiries on a continuous basis
Ongoing liaison within the department as well as with clients in the Group to maintain long-term relationships
Continuously logging progress feedback on the ticket system
Following up with business after sign-off of tickets to measure quality
Continuously identifying possible improvements to systems and processes not identified by the business

Qualifications and Experience (Preferred)
Previous development experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 and/or Business Central
Experience in the use of ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 or Business Central
Working knowledge of SQL and SQL Server, including stored procedures
