Job description

To develop, upgrade, fault find, and commission Plant & Equipment for capital projects (MMUs, MCUs, PCUs, Plants, Emulsion Vertical Delivery Systems, and equipment with similar complexity), including project management.

Required outputs: functional management, fault finding, and repair of Plant & Equipment in construction on capital projects.

Design work: Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications, focusing on Electrical Engineering, Control, and Instrumentation.

Provide engineering input during project definition. Collaborate on project costing with Sourcing and Procurement, emphasizing Electrical Engineering, Control, and Instrumentation. Interpret, update, and develop drawings, manuals, and specifications.

Manage service providers, external engineers, and contractors for development, repair, or upgrade of equipment. Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning, and issue reports. Support continuous improvement and change management, adopting best practices from external contractors.

Participate in engineering risk assessments. Develop and track project budgets in accordance with governance policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment standards.
